Cursor Craft v2 is here

Cursor Craft v2 is out now.

We rebuilt the interface to make the app faster and easier to use. The new design helps you browse cursor sets, find your favorites, and change your Mac cursor with fewer steps.

V2 also improves how Cursor Craft renders cursor images, opening the door to dynamic and animated cursors.

A new way to browse

The new Home screen puts hand-picked packs and recent releases up front. In Explore, you can filter packs by category and preview a cursor before applying it. Your purchased packs stay together in Library.

We also simplified pack pages. The preview, price, description, and apply button now appear on the same screen.

Faster and clearer

We changed how Cursor Craft loads packs and redraws the interface. Scrolling and switching tabs now feel more responsive.

If the app loses its connection, it now shows an error message and a refresh button instead of an empty screen. Cursor Craft can also keep purchased packs and categories visible when cached data is available.

Better cursor rendering

The new rendering system gives us more control over how cursor images appear on your Mac. It also prepares Cursor Craft for cursor packs that can move or display changing information.

Dynamic packs can update the pointer with live information. Apply a pack once, and the cursor can change without you replacing it each day.

Animated packs add motion to the pointer instead of using a single static image. Support for these packs is still growing, and more releases are on the way.

We will share each dynamic and animated pack as it becomes available.

We are improving previews, collection pages, and how packs appear across different Mac setups.
